A reason to miss the WCup Final: Flying with Alex

Your take off is Walsh’ at 10’800’ on Aspen Mtn,

It’s East facing and steep, and therefore ideal morning take off.

Today was a day with light winds from the South.

Over Aspen Mtn, a mix between Engleman Spruce and Lodgepole pine

Flying on a Glider by u-Turn from Germany, the Passenger 2

Aspen and the Ski Area are in the White River N’tl Forrest

Below is the Northstar Nature Preserve, a flood plain of the Roaring fork river in the spring.

Thanks Danno! Alexis and I both had a great time. Thank you for sharing some of your previous gliding experiences with me as well as making me feel right at home in the beautiful Aspen sky. The photos you took were great. We hope to come visit you again next year with the kids, and take them along for the ride. I will be sure to ask for you, because there is no one else I’d rather fly with. EPIC TIME!!-alex
