how we met
Rachel was teaching snowboarding for Shining Stars at Buttermilk where Danno was ski patrolling at the time. We met at the mid-load station of the West Buttermilk ski lift. Danno dressed in ski patrol uniform and Rachel in Shining Stars outfit with her students. Danno so gracefully offered free beers to all of the instructors after teaching. Rachel so graciously accepted. It was love at first sight, as they say. However, little did Danno know it would take 6 years, one dating show and his best effort to take Rachel on romantic ski trip to Telluride with a birthday tandem flight, a trip up a Mexican vulcano and fall camping in winter conditions to convince Rachel he could hang at her pace.

Late thirties, pedeatric critical care nurse. She likes to paraglide tandem, spend time outdoors in the winter as well as the summer and LOVES to travel and speaks fluent Spanish.
